Simple. Fast. Job Search
Many people are looking to be hired full-time even though they do not have any working experience. It can be difficult to find 40 hours of work per week if you have not worked the job previously. 9-5 work usually means you have a position of importance or serve a vital role in the business, and businesses may be reluctant to hire someone that has not had any prior experience or skills with the particular job.
For this reason, you might want to prepare yourself mentally for an interview and approach it with a lot of confidence. You will want to dress appropriately and think of as many reasons as possible on why you might be qualified for the job.
Even thought you do not have the requisite experience level, there are other qualities that could convince someone to hire you. For example, being a full time parent might mean that you know how to be responsible with children. Working a different job that is similar in nature may have taught you teamwork or leadership skills that would translate well into this new role.
Many times, companies are simply looking for someone that they consider to be a good, trustworthy person. You might be tasked with answering phones or working customer service, which can lead to more responsibility later on down the line.
Having a good education might also convince someone that you are a good fit for the career opportunity. A college degree is not always required. Many people have a high school degree which can be sufficient to working certain jobs that are available. Full-time work can sometimes be demanding, which is why many business owners will prefer to hire someone that knows the ropes and can easily transition into their new role and possibly even train others.
